Michelle is a native of Stoneham, MA and has been teaching and choreographing for many years. She began dancing at an early age, and finished her training at Dance Track in Wakefield, MA. Michelle graduated with a BA in Dance and Minor in Business from Dean College. She has toured throughout New England and performed in New York City, Cape Cod and Orlando, FL. Michelle has studied with master teachers such as Mia Michaels, Maurice Hines, Derrick Grant, Tony Meredith, Melanie LaPatin, and Bob Rizzo. During her time at Dean College she trained with professional teachers such as Jill Silverman, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Jil Matrisciano, Kelly Peters, Jean Wenzel, Joan Palladino, and more. She directed the "Coffeehouse Cabaret" at Dean College, has performed in the musical "My Favorite Year", and was a member of the elite Dean College Dance Company and Dance Team. She was also producer for the Dance Complex's Shared Choreographer's Concert in Cambridge, MA. Michelle teaches beginner through advanced levels of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater and Creative Movement. Michelle's certifications include CPR/First Aid and Mat Pilates through Peak Pilates. Michelle is also a certified member of the Dance Teacher's Club of Boston.

| Lauren Leahy |
|
Lauren is a native of Reading, Ma.
She has been dancing since the age of 4 and finished her training at LaPierre School of Dance in Reading, Ma.
Lauren graduated with an AA in Dance and an AS in Early Childhood Education from Dean College.
She went on to further her studies at Lesley University and graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Child and Family Studies.
While at Dean College, Lauren was a member of the Dance Team and performed in "Coffeehouse Cabaret," The Dance TEam show, Showcase and the "The Dean Dance Extravaganza."
Lauren worked with guest artists including Jay T. Jenkins, Maurice Hines, AC Ciulla, Derrick K. Grant and guest artist Sam Fiorello at LaPierre.
Lauren is also certified in CPR/First Aid.

| Lauren Weisse |

Lauren Weisse is a native of Wakefield, MA and has been teaching for many years. She began her dance education at Susan Woods Dance Center of Stoneham and finished her training at Dance Track in Wakefield, MA. Lauren had the opportunity to dance and compete throughout Massachusetts, New England, New York City and Orlando, Florida. Lauren graduated with an AA in Dance from Dean College School of Dance. She furthered her education and received a BS in Psychology from Salem State University. While at Dean, Lauren focused her studies on Creative Movement, Composition and Pedagogy. Lauren had the privilege to study with many great teachers and choreographers including Jill Silverman, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Mary-Anne Kodzis, Jil Matrisciano, Missy Lay Zimmer, Andrew Hubbard, and many more. Lauren performed in many dance shows including “Coffeehouse Cabaret,†the Dance Team Show, and Showcase. Lauren is CPR & AED certified and also certified in Zumba. Lauren is also a certified member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston.

| Melanie Burnell |

Melanie Burnell has been dancing since the age of 2. She trained at La Pierre School of Dance in Reading, MA. Melanie later joined J&D Dance Academy of Reading/Woburn, where she became a part of the hip hop dance team. The J&D Hip Hop team traveled to Orlando, Florida for Nationals. In 2005, Melanie became the Hip Hop Director at Candys Dance Academy in Beverly where she taught a variety of ages for 5 years. She has taken many master classes through the Monsters of Hip Hop Convention. Melanie has her Associates Degree in Business and is CPR/AED certified. She is excited to join the faculty of East Coast Dance Center!
