Creative Movement Level 1, Ballet/Tap Combo
Ages: 2.5-3 (By Sept 1st)

The main focus is to teach children how to utilize their motor skills, creativity, imagination, coordination, and balance. Creative Movement will incorporate Pre-Ballet work, Tap, movement with props, and basic tumbling. By obtaining those skills, the children will also learn to trust, cooperate, use teamwork, and discover their individuality. Children will perform one number in recital.
Creative Movement Level 2, Ballet/Tap Combo

Kindermoves Level 1
Ages: 5-6

The main focus is to introduce the world of dance through Pre-Ballet moves, Tap, or Introductory Jazz, and basic tumbling. Students will enhance their motor coordination, stretching, and musicality. Children will perform one number in recital. Choose a combination: Ballet/Tap or Jazz/Tap.

Ballet is a classical dance form characterized by grace and precision of movement and by elaborate formal gestures, steps, and poses. Ballet is the foundation of all other dance genres and strongly emphasizes proper technique, body alignment and placement. Class will consist of barre, center work, across the floor work, and stretching. Students will study classical Vagonava and Cechetti styles.
Pointe
Ages: 13 and Older

Pointe is a ballet done on the tips of your toes. A student must have a strong ballet technique and understand proper body alignment before beginning Pointe. It is solely at the discretion of the owner whether a student is ready for Pointe..
Jazz
Ages: 10 and Older

Jazz consists of a warm up, body isolations, across the floor progressions, and center combinations. Students will study a variety of styles, musicality, and rhythm.
Tap
Ages: 10 and Older

Tap is a dance form where rhythmical sounds are created by feet. Class consists of warm up, across the floor progressions, and center combinations. This will strengthen their coordination and agility.
Modern
Ages: 10 and Older
Duration:

Modern is a style of dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling. Students will be studying Horton, Dunham, Graham, and Release techniques.
Lyrical
Ages: 10 and Older

Lyrical is a style of dance that blends jazz and ballet, while telling a story. We will work on stretching and strengthening technique, along with stage presence. Class consists of warm up, across the floor progressions, and center combinations.
Boys Hip Hop
Ages: 5 and Older

Hip Hop is a style that began in the 1980's and has evolved from street dancing and choreographed party dances. Students will learn a variety of styles and the importance of musicality is strongly emphasized. This is a high energy class!
Hip Hop

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is a great way to enhance performance quality. This class is designed for the theatre enthusiasts. We will incorporate acting, learning Broadway music, and all styles of dancing!
Classical Pilates
Ages: 16 and Up

Classical Pilates taught by Michelle. This class is a mat based class that includes a series of moves to lengthen and tone your muscles, while strengthening your core. This class includes a brief warm-up, and a dynamic, full body work out. It is designed for individuals of all levels!

Class packages expire 3 months from date of purchase.

You are required to notify the studio of your attendance 24 hours prior to class time.

Power Yoga/Pilates

This class consists of a half hour of flowing Vinyasa style yoga with a half hour of mat Pilates taught by Colleen. Excellent class for improving your balance, flexibility, core strength, lengthening the muscles and enjoying a relaxing mind-body experience.

Flow Yoga

This class consists of flowing Vinyasa style yoga in a warm room taught by Colleen. Excellent class for improving your flexibility, core strength, and balance while enjoying a relaxing mind-body experience.

Cardio/Muscle/Pilates

This class is a Total Body Workout taught by Colleen. The first part of the class is a circuit of hi/lo impact Cardio routines alternating with handheld weight exercises to keep your heart rate up for the 40 minutes. Ending in 20 minutes of mat Pilates work to strengthen, lengthen and tone body focusing on strengthening abs and back.
Bring your sneakers!

This class is taught by Colleen to tone and strengthen the body, using hand weights for upper body and Mat Pilates for Abs and Back. Weights and mats are provided. This class is before the Zumba class for a total body workout. Start with strengthening and toning and end with an option of an hour of cardio in the fun dance inspired Zumba class.

Zumba

This class is offered as part of Colleen's fitness line-up. Drop-in or join for the session. This class is taught by Kelli LaVita and Barbara Intravaia (alternating Mondays) and is a fun hour filled with a variety of jazz, hip-hop, ballet, merenge, and salsa dance moves guaranteed to make you sweat! No Dance Experience Necessary! Just come to have fun.



Drop-in Rate is $10 or Drop-in to both Muscle/Pilates and Zumba for $14.

Gentle Yoga

Zumba GOLD
